Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. developed the training programs in Applied Shamanic Practice, Applied Shamanic Counseling and Plant Medicine Insight Integration after many years of study both academically (cultural anthropology and comparative religion) and in the field (studying with shamanic practitioners from many different traditions including Nepal, Siberia, and North and Central America). She has been the primary teacher of these programs at Sacred Stream for more than two decades. She has also worked one on one with many, many clients from all walks of life in her thirty years of private practice. She founded the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a school for consciousness studies in Berkeley and developed the spiritual counseling model, Depth Hypnosis, which incorporates shamanic healing practices. She has published numerous articles, podcast episodes, videos, and the books Coming to Peace and The New Return to the Great Mother.
